The website showed a beautiful historic hotel, charming and elegant. Shame on the photographer and webmaster who misrepresented the ramshackle condition and the total lack of hospitality that is the reality. No ice machine, a flimsy lock on the room, no clock in the room, none of the standard hotel amenities. And the owner who was staggeringly drunk at check-in tried to charge us 66 cents for our room. Craziest hotel experience we've ever had.
