Was in the basic EMT class. Instructor stated she hated teaching basics. Used an earlier version of the text to teach from, meaning the chapters didn't line up. Information in the new text (which we had to use) wasn't in the old text so it was never taught. Charts and information on those charts were either different or missing completely in the new version, yet we needed to know what was on them for testing. Questions on tests covered areas that had not been covered in class yet weren't removed when brought to the attention of the instructor, even though not a single person got any of those questions correct. Answers to test questions were marked incorrect even though they were correct according to the textbook; makes one wonder how many other questions had the wrong answers that weren't caught. Noise from office staff during exam periods was very disruptive. The old adage applies: you get what you pay for.
