William Foster, a God fearing man and definitely a stand up guy and raised the bar for his line of work.  Walked through the home with us as if we were kids that he wanted to succeed.  When I left that home we knew more about homes than we originally did.  He also permitted us to call him if we had any issues or concerns after we purchased the home.  Stop looking around your answer is here call William Foster from liberty home inspections 810-964-0133

I do not recommend this home inspector or any of his services at all, he is not thorough and very unprofessional. He was hired for a home inspection for 3 hours and left in under an hour, my real estate agent told me she saw the times and was closer to 45 mins. He didnt check the roof stating because of the wet conditions because it rained the day prior but was dry at the time of the inspection. He also brought his grandson who did half his work for him, who Im sure is not licensed to do so. Also at the end of the inspection I pointed out a few things that I had questions about, which he noted and took pictures of at the time I pointed them out so he obviously missed them. After receiving the report a majority of the things on the report were things I pointed out or him stating he was unable to inspect due to conditions which was not true. For example he stated he was unable to inspect the interior of the foundation due to the basement being finished, which I later took a small ladder and lifted one of the ceiling tiles to see the foundation and found a foundation crack. He left over 2 hours early but could not climb a ladder and lift a tile that took me a minute. I also later discovered my dishwasher was leaking and the spigot outside was leaking and faulty, all things he could have inspected but didnt. After speaking with my agent and from her experience it is very common if not expected for inspectors to check/run appliances and most inspections take close to 3 hours even on smaller homes than mine. This inspector charged 350 for a 3 hour job he did not complete and left in under an hour. You are better off checking the house yourself and will probably do a way better job. Also the homeowners at the time also complained that after the inspection that someone had gone through their food and cooked themselves something. There were several more issues but just do not have the room to list. He is very unprofessional and does a very poor job. Update: yes this is the right company.
