My friends and I like to camp here on the lake side sites. As others have mentioned road noise can sometimes be annoying especially on a site on the road side. Most of the lake side sites have direct access to the beach and once you get there there is very little road noise, just wonderful waves. Make sure to reserve your spot well in advance as even in regular years it is usually pretty full. If you try to wing it be careful, one year we setup on a site that didn't have a tag but apparently it was reserved so the camp host made us move all our stuff, I wouldn't count on the but they at least let us move to a site usually reserved for disabled campers, otherwise we would have been out of luck since it was evening and the rest of the sites filled up before they told us to move. I am not sure if it's the same hosts every year but it seems the host can be very picky some years. Also if you want a nice rest room where you don't have to hold your breath from the stench the ones in the day use area are usually not used much.
