Hope they didnt pay much for remodel. Place is a dump. Space heaters heating the waiting room and super dirty inside. Rude office people must have replaced old. Triage area is public space and had office staff walking through while getting services in what used to be a laundry room type hallway.
Called prior to service and confirmed they took my insurance. Then had unnecessary repetitive urine screen 2 times in 34 days even though they claim it should be every 3 months. They assume all patients are drug abusers with their policy. Sent urine across the state to an out of network lab that charges $690 for urine screen they say is mandatory for treatment. Even though I was told services were covered under insurance prior to appointment.
When i talked with priveleged rude owner she didnt want to hear any feedback. Told me she was going to discharge me as a patient over urine screen billing issue and hung up on me. Claimed I was yelling at her because she didnt like my tone. Surely doesnt care about patients, just money. Hid the drug policy after i pointed out it was unethical and worded to protect themselves from presciption abuse, while expense is passed on to patient. They said they, "use current lab cause unpaid bills get written off." Way to encourage people to not pay their bills or be responsible.
Only positive was the FNP Jennifer Jeffries. She was caring and seemed to want to help. Which is only reason I went back 2 times.
If you like medical offices that encourage charging insurance max and taking pennies on dollar if not covered, this is your place. Assurex DNA tests are a scam. Was told lies about the cost verbally while having anxiety so i signed the papers and was surprised when bill came. Was given $5500 DNA swab and $690 urine screen (what they attempted to bill insurance and denied coverage) before i saw an actual medical provider.
Dont recommend this place unless you have govermment insurance. Clearly that is their business model.

Update 12/13/18
Called to get a refill on my anti-acid meds 28 days after last visit. During that visit, plan was to return on january 3rd for follow up after blood work was completed. Was denied a refill by NP jennifer jefferies. She is now changing my plan of treatment because of billing issues. Called 5 times and was hung up on every time because "i was complaining" about not getting meds i was treated for and not following agreed on health plan. Told me i had to schedule a visit to get a med refill. Shortly after that, I went to location to request my medical records and was refused. Police officer witnessed this. Was told nobody there to handle records until 5 days later.
Being punished medically for not wanting to be billed unreal prices for unnecessary urine screens. Was also told this time "they can request a urine screen any time they want" despite being told it was every 90 days. BEWARE!!!!
Strongly recommend you stay away from unethical facility. Will be filing complaint with state.
