    Do not do business with this company, they have zero customer service... After ordering tools from them I received an empty envelope with packing slip... Then after finally getting a live person on the phone I thought it was resolved, only to get another package a week later with something in it I did not order... Now after several calls and emails to company there is no response!!! I will not order another thing from JBtools guaranteed!

    I cannot recommend this company. I returned an item weeks ago (received by them on 01/04/2022). Returns are not free as they make you pay return shipping BTW. I had to contact them 8 days after it was received by them to follow up. Apparently they issued a refund shortly thereafter for the returned merchandise but the refund is nowhere to be found (i.e. the refund was never made). Have I been robbed of $250.00? Abysmal customer service. Does not seem like an honest business. Not recommended. Lots of other places to buy tools from no reason to shop here. Lots of bad reviews lately. Folks, this is for real. Use caution and think twice before dealing with this firm.

    I ordered s bench vise from JB Tools, an incorrect and far inferior model showed up. Additionally it was damaged and judging by the condition of the inner box had been shipped broken. An impressive feat to damage a cast iron vise too.... I recommend taking your business elsewhere, but if you do order... match the description and model number with the manufacturer website. The item I ordered was listed incorrectly and caused this whole issue. Only reason I gave 2 stars was they eventually agreed to return the purchase after a week of working with customer service.

    Beware of their "free shipping", because you will pay dearly with time. They use that "UPS Mail Innovations" garbage. All the carriers have that same low-level service under different names for poorly run businesses that would rather spend their days jumping over dollars to get to nickels instead of building a customer base. I'm over 12 days still waiting on a package shipped from one state away that according to the tracking info is probably lost. NEVER do business with a company that uses that shipping method unless you're buying something you don't really need. This is my first order with this place, and had I known they were using that garbage I would have ordered elsewhere. I'll certainly never buy from these folks again.

    The worst return policy that I have ever encountered. I have been a small business owner for the past 25 years and when possible always try to do business with other small businesses but JB Tools doesn’t care about the small guys. On Nov 8th, 2021 I purchased an Autel Maxisys Diagnostic Scanner for $4,599. I received it in a timely manner and began using it at our service shop. Approximately 2 weeks later the Scanner malfunctioned and failed to startup, the screen stayed black and would not operate. I reached out to JB Tools customer service and spoke with Jessica. She stated to contact Autel or simply return the product as I was within their 60 day warranty. Because I needed the scanner, I asked Jessica if they would exchange it for a new working Scanner. She stated that they could only accept it as a return. The catch here is that @JasonPetta (the owner of JB Tools) charges a 20% restocking fee for returned merchandise. I then spoke to Jessica’s supervisor Christine, and asked if the restocking fee could be waived if I immediately purchased another Autel Scanner from them as I still needed the scanner for my business. Her response was “I apologize for the inconvenience but we cannot waive the restocking fee. Jessica asked you to contact Autel for support for your item.” Here’s the deal, I could’ve purchased this item from Amazon for the same price with 0 - ZERO return issues, no restocking fee and would not have to waste time going back and forth with customer service but instead chose to do business with JB Tools. Ultimately, I was charged $1,264.37 (25.45%) to return a defective tool purchased from JB Tools. I sincerely recommend purchasing your tools from a company that doesn’t charge you a 25% fee to return your item, offers true customer support and cares about the smaller guys that pay to keep them in business. I hope that Jessica, Christine and @JasonPetta take the time to read my review and understand that charging someone over $1,200 to return a defective item will soon close their doors.
