Mdm Automotive Repair And Service

Brought my car in to change out the clutch, great price but when I tried to take off my wheels they used an air impact gun on my lugs. It was so tight the lug nut snapped in half and wouldn't be able to be taken off unless you drilled it out. Went back to have them take it off since they were responsible for it but they charged me to fix their mistake. After changing out the lug stud when I came to pick up my vehicle I specifically asked if the stud they replaced was the correct thread pitch as every vehicle has its own thread pitch that lugs will spin on smoothly. They advised me yes that the part that was installed was specific to my vehicle. I then tried to change my wheels out again and the stud that they replaced only works with the lug nut that they put on. I tried a lug nut with m12x1.5 which is the one specific to my 2009 Civic SI and for just checking tried m12x1.25 both of which did not work and I didn't want to try to force it on as then it would've probably stripped and I would have been charged again to fix the problem they caused. If a shop can't properly torque lug nuts on, can't use the correct parts, and they still charge you for something they broke??? I wouldn't recommend going there. The prices might be great but the work they do is sub par. I will be finding a different shop in the future to bring my car to and will be changing out the stud they replaced myself. EDIT: Changing my review to 1 star. When they did this work on my transmission I arrived at the shop with no engine light. I turned my car on and immediately noticed it. I asked the mechanic and he told my my O2 sensor was bad and that if I bought one he'd change it out for free. After my first review I didn't want to even go back so I bought the part to change out myself. Come to find out he lied about the O2 sensor being bad, they riped it off the car and the clip broke off so it wasn't even attached to the car........ They should've took the responsibility to buy a new part and replace what they broke, instead they advised me to buy the part after lying to my face and come back to their shop to have them install it for free. If you want your car fixed correctly PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. Service: Transmission
