Closing The Digital Gap

I dont usually bother writing reviews but this is too egregious not to say anything about my personal experience with Closing the Digital Gap. I have a child who is on remote learning. She, like many others, have been on remote learning for a year. I have been trying for a YEAR to obtain help and services through this organization and after a YEAR of jumping through hoops, having LONG periods of time where they wouldn't email me or call me back, having been dropped and slipped through cracks and calling them back and letting them know I'm still here and waiting, I was FINALLY approved to have a hotspot box sent to me. The last communication I had with this organization was January 29, 2021, where I was told that the hotspot box was being sent out to me the next day via Fed Ex. I have since been emailing and calling, leaving NUMEROUS messages for someone to simply email me or call me back, but that hasnt been done. This organization GHOSTED ME TWICE NOW and I'm not even sure this is a legitimate organization now. I sincerely hope that they aren't going to turn around and say that I'm responsible for costs of something I never received. To say that I am highly annoyed would be an understatement. This organization does NOT seem to want to help. This is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and a bit on the shady side it seems to me. Where is the hotspot box? Did someone SAY they mailed it out and instead pocketed it? What else is falling through the cracks? Who else has this happened to? I wish I could give this place negative star reviews to warn anyone else that this is going to be an uphill battle trying to get services and assistance from this place. Ridiculous and HIGHLY unprofessional. I'm hoping that by posting on Twitter, Facebook, and here that people will be warned about what this place does.
