I paid to park my vehicle at the Kentwood Michigan location from March 23-30th, 2024. When I returned on March 30, there had been severe damage done to my truck. I reported to the hotel clerk and have been calling daily to reach the general manager to obtain camera footage so that I can file a police report and file insurance claim. The manager refuses to come to the phone or return my call.
Safety: Needs improvement.

I was excited to stay at this hotel based on reviews and pictures I saw, that quickly turned when we arrived. I am a Hilton Honors member and pre selected my room for easy check in and digital key. When I arrived my app notified me that I had to see the front desk, I did, and she told me they gave my preselected room away and I was now on the 4th floor after I had selected the first. She moved me to a different room on main floor, we go to that room and it's filthy, not even cleaned. Go back to front desk, she blames it on the General Manager not properly doing room checks and assigns me another room. We get in there, get situated and go to turn on TV, no remote, we look everywhere, so I go back to desk tell the attendant and she hands me a remote, back to the room with remote, still doesn't work. At this time I am a bit frustrated, I go back to desk hand her remote and she is stunned and offers me "free snacks" when I voiced my frustrations. I said I didn't want free snacks, I wanted a clean room and a remote that works. I stated we were going to dinner and to please find me a now 3rd room and we would move up on our return. Mind you I have 2 children with me. We returned after dinner and she moved us to our 3rd room of the night, handed us keys, we grab our stuff from second room and go to unlock door of 3rd room and keys do not work. I literally could of cried. Back to the desk, new keys and finally a room that was sufficient.
This hotel is not new, it was dirty, pillows were lumpy, and just underwhelmed by it all. I travel a lot and stay at Hilton a lot. This property I would not recommend.
