I loved the authentic Italian food and the wonderful staff. Giglio's permanently closed it's doors on June 27, 2015 due to the owner's health and I will miss everything about this restaurant.

Just terrible! They don't take reservations, but told us they did not expect to be busy. (On a Friday night in Jackson? Red Flag!) When we got there we were told that they did not have a table big enough for us (party of 8), but we could sit at adjoining tables. Perhaps they were adjoining, but because one was around the corner, it was not as if we could see or converse with each other; not a good thing when people have traveled cross country to celebrate with you. Soon after we placed our order, the place started to clear out. We asked if we could move to the back of the restaurant and move a couple of tables together. No. Not possible. Even more people left, and we asked again. No. We obviously did not understand. They have been in business for many years, and know it is just not possible. I sincerely believe if we had been the only patrons, it still would not have been possible to sit with the rest of our party. When the food arrived, the quality ranged from good to mediocre, to just inedible. (Old fish? NASTY!) If you don't like Italian dressing, you are out of luck. That is all they have. Seriously. If you like Wal-Mart's French bread, you will like what they offer here; it is pretty much the same. We were so embarrassed to have recommended this place as a "cute little Italian place with great food".

This is a well-run restaurant and the food is excellent! The newly renovated dining area is very nice.
