Can I post negative stars?  This person is a monster who has built a reputation for taking children away from their mothers. He is known throughout Oakland County lawyers and psychologists as someone who will do anything for a buck, including destroying families. If you have been assigned to him in a custody dispute, demand another assignment.  He lies on the stand. I have witnessed him doing this on more than one occasion.

I usually never give reviews but to see someone post such a negative review I feel compelled to do so. He is amazing!! He listens and picks up on everything it's a bonus when he interjects to speak. I've known this Dr for many years now as my kids have gone to him in the past. It was random how I ended up there as I was new to the area. Until now my kids appreciate his expertise and knowledge and they've been through the ringer w/medical professionals. He tells you like it is. Maybe a person doesn't want to hear the truth.... He doesn't sugar coat his findings and he has helped me come to light on many items. I don't know why i waiting so long to make my appointment.  I HIGHLY recommended Dr. Schaer if you truly want someone to help you get to the root cause.  Be it an adult or child.  He puts kids first not the parents. I am thankful for professionals who don't give a hoot about the parents, system but only the patient in front of them. He represents what seeking behavioral health is all about.
