Hulbert Lake Lodge

Beautifully quiet, no wake 500 acre lake...we enjoyed immensely. Sad to hear it is their last year in operation.

My family has been coming to Hulbert Lake Lodge for about thirty years. The manager is one of the nicest people we've met. Friendliness, courtesy and a willingness to please make your stay here wonderful. The lake and grounds are beautiful. Swimming and fishing are great. The most peaceful place on earth. Our four generations prefer it to any other vacation.

Absolutley wonderful place to stay! Cabins are right on Hulbert Lake. The lake is a private lake, beautiful, nice and peaceful. The lake offers fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking, bird watching and other wildlife, hiking and more. Eat breakfast at The Lodge, right there at the lake and you will get the best breakfast! The cabins are rustic and comfortable. Our family has stayed there every June for the last 5 years and will keep coming back.

My fiance and I recently stayed at the an extension of Hulbert Lake Lodge called the Snow-Shu Inn, which is located one mile down the road from Hulbert Lake (and owned by the same woman). We're from south eastern Michigan, so finding this place was absolutely wonderful. The cabins are simply adorable. The hostess was incredibly nice. The place was clean and very "homey" feeling. When we arrived we didn't notice a single spec of dirt anywhere. While the beds were somewhat old, they were still comfortable and provided a decent night's sleep. The place was completely booked, so business must be going well for her - and rightfully so! Hulbert is located about an hour from St. Ingance and an hour from Tahquamenon Falls. It was a very awesome experience and we're planning to stay here again!
