We will be using River City for all our auto needs. I brought my daughters car to a BMW dealership, and the dealership wanted $510 to just hook it up to the computer to diagnose the problem. When I asked them if that cost goes towards fixing it they said no parts and labor are all extra. River city hooked it up to their computer, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it for less than the BMW dealership wanted to simply hook it up to their computer. Fast, reliable and great value for repairs. Just before Christmas, I had my 2009 Town and Country stay in 2 nd gear and would not shift. To get it repaired, I tried the Fox Chrysler dealership on Plainfield who told me it would be early February before they could schedule my van. I tried another repair shop on Walker but they told me they don't do transmission and suggested a place in Allendale. My son told me to go to River City Auto on Remembrance in Walker. I stopped by and Andrew said they could get me in on January 3. So I dropped it off on the 3 rd. and they called later that day, told me it was the transmission shifter solenoid and quoted me about $575 that would also include tire rotation and oil change and it should be ready by Thursday as they had to order the part. They called me today (Wednesday) and said it was done and would only be a little over $400 as the part was less than they estimated plus they did not have to program the solenoid. The new part even has a two year warranty. They are one of the most honest and friendliest auto repair shop I've ever used. Chad,the owner and Andrew are great to work with. If you need auto repair give them a try.
