I am so pleased with the care that I received here, I could cry. I decided to switch gastro/colorectal providers after my PCP retired and I am so, so glad I did. With my old provider, I would arrive 10mins before my appointment time and sit there waiting 20mins past it. When I finally did get called back, appointments always felt so rushed. The doctor never really took the time to talk with me, explain things, or answer questions. One of my last procedures at that office, I had thought I was going in for a follow up, and before I knew it they had started the procedure - I was like, what are you doing!! The doctor didn't discuss the procedure with me or mention that was what the visit would entail. I really, really disliked that office. It was in and out, not much care at all. Not with Spectrum! Here I didn't even wait 5 minutes after checking in before getting called back. Staff was friendly and kind. The provider I saw was thorough, and most importantly she took the time to explain things and answer my questions. I did not feel the least bit rushed. She explained what has been going on with me so simply and clearly, which is something that my previous provider had never bothered to do before. It's brought me so much relief just to finally understand it. I felt truly cared for. It all may seem like small, silly things, but it really makes a world of difference for me. I can't recommend this place enough. You will get the care you need and deserve here!

Fabulous ! Dr. Hoedema' s team was the best ! Blodgett Hospital was also fantastic.
