    It's been brought to my attention that my daughter does not have heat and is not expected for another week to have furnace repairs. Property managers need to be well versed on all aspects of management property policies and procedures. However, customer service is also a prime component of such a position. Apparently Dominique needs to be re-trained on BASIC customer service protocol. The rudeness and unprofessional attitude taken with both myself and my daughter is completely unacceptable. Giving a tenant a space heater and telling occupants it will be another week of no heat is beyond negligence. The house is old and the space heater blows all other fuses. Only one is functioning - maintaining the house at 57 degrees. This is UNACCEPTABLE by any stretch of the imagination. Having a comprehensive understanding of building codes, maintenance factors, and rental agreements - yes you are compliant in that you provide space heaters (must provide a heat source) but with such an old home and poor electrical with the heaters sparking and blowing all electrical circuits out while in use is again......is a significant fire hazard for all occupants! This laggard response by Qwest Property Management is completely negligent. Being in the position of a landlord, myself, I am fully aware of 24 hour HVAC service companies available. Perhaps the local media would be interested in this story about your unacceptable response to heating issues during a very cold winter.

    The best decision my husband and I ever made with our rental property was to choose Kevin and his team to manage it! He takes very good care of our property, and is always available to help and give good advice. Kevin is honest, straightforward, and efficient. He is the best property manager we have, and I wish all the others were like him!

    Worst experience ever. After all the Congratulations Emails, Must sign leases, signed, Pay First then Denied 3 days til Move IN. The endless false hopes but you can think about another one of our property after this being the 2nd rental property. Odd. No, Thank You! We are still waiting for our prepaid thousands, a company that can't return this kind of money back as fast as it being cleared is questionable. The upfront Merchant FEE of 3% yet 30 days for processing to get our thousands back they stated. It's 2024, Next Day Deposits are available now with those additional FEES. A flooded mess of emotional distress and horrible business practice. As well as the rental market is doing, there shouldn't be a problem returning our funds to rent from a different company.

Hello Lisa,It is unfortunate that we had to rescind our offer to lease. However, as was explained to you prior to your posting here, after your application was initially approved you made several misrepresentations and false statements which contradicted your rental application. Throughout your application process your dog changed from a Chihuahua to a German Shepard (restricted breed). Your mother was first going to be co-signer, then she was going to be the sole occupant and you wanted to remove yourself, then you wanted to add her as a roommate, finally, after we had worked to be accommodating of your requests and offered a lease for the property in good faith, you chose to sign the lease with your mother as a roommate, and notify us afterwards that she in fact would not be occupying the property, etc….. It became clear that you were not being honest with us, nor did you respect the process of making an application to rent in good faith. Additionally, after you had paid your application fee it was returned for non-sufficient funds. While this wasn’t the sole cause for the rescinded offer to lease, it was one more indicator of future unfavorable behavior. As soon as it became apparent that you were not acting in good faith, you left us no choice but to rescind our offer to lease. Qwest Property Management is not willing to allow a prospective resident demonstrating these behaviors to move into one of our managed rental homes. We immediately informed you that we would refund all funds you had paid to date. At no time was there a delay in your funds being returned to you. Legally, as a 3rd party management company, we can not refund money until the payments/funds have cleared and been deposited into our trust account. The electronic processing and depositing of your payments are outside of our control. As soon as we were notified that your funds were deposited into our bank we informed you that your refund checks were ready to be picked up at our office. It is unfortunate that you felt the need to publicly post a negative review of our company. If you would like a better experience moving forward with your home search, I would recommend that you be honest and forthcoming with the next housing provider you apply with.
