Spectrum Health Medical Group Neurology/Epilepsy

My son was in Spectrum Butterworth for weeks and never received the care he should have gotten because his tests never show a problem. These doctors were negligent to say the least and probably committed malpractice. My son was almost dead. I took him out of town to another neurosurgeon, and he received proper care. He is now on his way to recovery. I would not recommend these people to anyone. They do not listen to their patients and only go by the test results. The Spectrum/Corwell system cost me months of work and extreme stress. Almost my son's life. Neurology told him his headaches were probably Tylenol rebound headaches, and many other ridiculous things. His shunt was malfunctioning. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I just received a dismissal letter for no showing appointments that, I wasnt in the state for, and they were notified because its illegal for me to have had a virtual appointment out of state. Then apparently they had me scheduled for an appointment that I wasnt aware of and didnt appear on my app last night when I was looking at my future appointments. Im very disappointed in the experience Ive had with spectrum health. I feel that Ive called and needed help just to find out my dr was out on leave, and because of that made getting my prescription or paperwork filled out almost impossible. I feel that they do not put patient care as the primary concern, but rather are just there to clock in and clock out. Ive been calling for weeks for help and havent heard anything until this morning when I received the letter of dismissal. Dr. Margret Konwinski was a real let down. I never felt she had a clue what is going on, except to diagnose. Then its just been a very scary, lonely, emotionally exhausting experience dealing with my disability. I wouldnt recommend this office whatsoever. No consistency or empathy. Keep going south.

I like my provider, but when she went on maternity leave and I needed care, I felt like a burden to another one of their providers.
