Ian and his team are great to work with when discharging patients from our critical care recovery hospital to their homes. They are quick to respond to referrals and work diligently to meet the needs of our patients to ensure a smooth transition home.

I worked for this company for ten years. I started as an aid and worked my way up and left as an LPN. I worked for the homecare side which is now "The Key". Towards the end my "supervisors" wouldn't return emails, stonewalled, and would use being understaffed as an explanation for not contributing to the cases and refusing to update plan of cares for Medicaid Waiver Patients. They refused to follow up on education deficits from caregivers/nurses but did not hesitate to call a client out if they upset a caregiver/nurse. When my client would email directly to set up a meeting discussing issues with his night nurse, he was ignored up until the day he left the agency. Since leaving the agency and my client choosing Self Determination, my workload has not changed at all, however my income has significantly increased which only demonstrates how little this agency contributed to their clients care and how little they care about paying their workers a wage that is deserved. This is an example of ONE case, I have many stories. I stayed because I thought it would evolve and get better but unfortunately It became very clear that profit was the top of their priority list. When they chose to drop all of their Medicaid Waiver patients with a month notice, I chose to leave myself. I hope they have found morale in their work ethic. I am incredibly disappointed in the road this company is going down. The clients this agency chooses to provide services for deserve, and have deserved better. I would like to clarify, this was the HOMECARE side of DMS which has evolved from DMS>Peace At Home>Homecare Assistance>The Key.
