I highly recommend...Ive been coming to this office since I was a little kid and it was Dr Vanslootens office. Dr Mehling took over and he was awesome...then I got married and relocated to the Muskegon area and tried going to my wifes dentist (Community Shores Dental, Dr Christopher Sortman) and they replaced the fillings on the right side of my mouth and it was terrible..I was in a lot of pain and it took over a year before my teeth felt normal again and the discomfort to subside. I went back there and told them 6 months later that I was in a lot of discomfort and couldnt chew food normally on the right side of my mouth without discomfort and they said that was normal...I never went back there again. I came back to Dr Mehling and he replaced one of my old fillings and I had no pain or discomfort whatsoever. A true professional who knows what hes doing. His staff is great also..Ill keep doing the 40 mile drive and coming here

I recently developed a serious wisdom tooth infection but was without a dentist. After being referred to Durham & Mehling, I called and was able to schedule an appointment the very next day. From the moment I walked in their office, Dr. Mehling and his staff treated me like a longtime patient. After prescribing an antibiotic and answering all my questions, Dr. Mehling personally took the time to help me contact local oral surgeons until we found one who could quickly schedule my wisdom tooth extraction. His office even called a few days after my surgery just to make sure I was doing ok. If you are looking for a dentist who truly cares about their patient's experience, I highly recommended Durham & Mehling DDS PC.

I've been very happy with my dental care here. Dr. Mehling takes his time to answer any questions and ensure that I am comfortable with any dental procedures performed.
