Very polite and communicative, but they missed the mark. Long story here: Last Friday, I took my F-150 in for some brake work. Their diagnosis called for routine pads and rotors replacement on the front and rear (quoted at over $1000!). I decided to only do the front ($535) since the rear sounded like the rear still had some life in them. After a full day of not having my truck, the pads and rotors were replaced and I was on my way... only to find out they had forgotten to tell me that they apparently could not open the caliper piston all the way on one of the wheels due to some residue being left behind on the piston which, in turn, caused the brand new pads to squeeze the new rotor to the point where they were literally smoking 5 miles down the road!... I immediately called and let them know. To their credit, they did receive my vehicle the next available day... Monday... (they're closed on the weekends), only to have them tell me that the fix would be to replace the calipers and another $400! At this point I decided to just have it done there as the truck was not safely drivable. At the end of the ordeal, I had no working vehicle for 4 FULL DAYS and paid them over $935 all thanks to their lack of forthcoming information... but according to them this is a common issue, then why was I not told about it?... maybe there are a lot more smoking brake systems out there and I just haven't seen them, or maybe I will be taking my car somewhere else in the future. We had an inspection done on a vehicle we were seriously considering purchasing. The dealership had only had the vehicle for a few hours before they showed it to us so they didn't know much about it. It is 11 years old and looked great but we wanted to make sure it was mechanically sound. Auto Centric did a full inspection for us and after a clean bill of health from them we made the purchase with full confidence that we had found the right car for our family. We always appreciate the service here and have full confidence in this team. Thank you! Service: General repairs & maintenance
