Brian Hickman: Allstate Insurance

Zero rating - the Brian Hickman agency started out great, but after I became customer. They refused to pick up the phone. Jacob is rude and receptionist doesn't pick up the phone or call you back if you leave a message. I fired this Agency and Moved over to another agency in the same area that treats me Great. Would NOT recommend Brian Hickman Agency to anyone!

I have been very happy with Allstate as a company, but I despise having to deal with anyone at the Flint office. They are rude, short tempered, unprofessional, and argumentative. I have been told by these agents at least a half a dozen times that they would call me back but in the 3 years I have had Allstate I have never gotten a call back from anyone at Brian Hickman's office. Recently I was able to opt out of PIP coverage and they made it almost impossible to accomplish. Every time I called, they would take my information and say they would call back, but they never called back and every time I called, they had no record of my previous calls. I finally I spoke with Jacob who, like some other agents there, told me he could not make any changes for months (which is misleading and dishonest), when I told him to write a new policy then, Jacob got real snotty and acted like that is what he was going to say. Im not sure if Brian Hickman's agents are penalized for customers dropping coverage, or maybe they are incentivized to lie to customers so they can squeeze them for every penny, I dont know but I was lied to by almost all of Brian Hickmans agents that I spoke with and the whole thing seems very shady. I will be contacting the Michigan Department of Insurance and I encourage those who went through a similar situation to do the same. Also, Progressive Insurance has agents licensed to work in Michigan that you can talk to at anytime. Not sure why Allstate does not.

I have been with Allstate for almost 5 years they have helped me everytime I've needed them and very fast I would deff recommend them for car insurance
