        My girlfriend/partner & I discovered this place years ago. Its a great piece of vintage Americana (IMO). It is now known as "The Amble Inn", & it's a great place to stay. Originally built in 1946, which is carved onto one of the outer log timbers, this rustic roadside motor lodge of a by gone era is a must see, whether its for the nostalgia, the local shops, or many fine dining options (see Douglas/Fennville/Saugatuck). Did I mention there's a small lake near by? 😉. The cabins have modern amenities, & the dining lounge (former barn) is an awesome addition. The owners , Ann(sp?) & Jeff were accommodating, warm, & enthusiastic about making sure each guests stay was pleasant & memorable. We will be visiting this great location again.

        We are here having a wonderful time! Upgraded to a bigger room no extra ! Paul is very nice Wonderful log cabins ! Pet friendly! We will most definitely be back!
