What up Dawg is one of the things I miss most about living in East Lansing, every time I go back I get a Detroit cony and a rock and rye!

Food is yummy! Both veggie dog and traditional hot dogs are good! I wish they were open more often

What Up Dawg is a great little place. It doesn't face Albert or Grand River so it's a little tucked away. They have pretty much every type of sausage I've ever heard of, burgers, hand-cut fries, a couple TVs, a few draft beers, some local beers and Faygo by the can. The employees are friendly and quick. We took our nieces (under age 10) there and they liked it too. I see the only negative review is from somebody who wanted delivery, which I didn't even know they offered. So don't get delivery and you should be happy with What Up Dawg.

I heard about their $2 Tuesday coneys and decided to take my family. My husband is from the Detroit area and loves coneys, so we were eager to try it. The guy working the counter took our order then prepared our meal, he was a swift and friendly guy. Six other people came in at the same time and we all had our food within 10min. The Smokey Dawg was great, the fries are AMAZING. I recommend to anyone on a budget.
