I've had two procedures now through Dexter Oral Surgery. Dr. Salamen is professional and very detailed. He continually "checks in" during the procedure for one's comfort level, works calmly and methodically, and personally calls to check in the day after. I returned for my second procedure 5+ years after my first. Staff is great too! Highly recommend!

We received the best care here. Our 8 year old son needed to have an "extra" gum-impacted front incisor tooth to be removed to allow his adult incisor to come in. We brought him in for this procedure in September 2022. Dr. Salamen performed a very clean procedure with little blood loss and trauma to our child. Dr. Salamen was extremely warm and comforting. Our son was relaxed and was able to continue his day at school after the procedure unaffected because the pain was minimal. I wish I had written this review earlier for others to know what a stellar oral surgeon Dr. Salamen was. He was impeccable at what he did, personable, and gentle. The world has truly lost a gem.

Amazing staff, amazing office and Dr. Salamen is a very very skilled oral surgeon, and very compassionate towards his patients, both are rare qualities to find. I'm an Orthodontist and was looking forward to doing jaw surgery cases with him Ortho & Oral surgery. His wife and I would talk about this on several occasions. Lucky to have know them both

Omar was not just a phenomenal surgeon, but one of the best human beings I have ever known. The world got just a little darker the day he left. Omar treated everyone as an equal. I will carry the wisdom and advice he gifted me as a student every day that I practice dentistry. He was someone who would never let a person who was in pain suffer. He was a true gift to this world. My heart aches for his family.
