Atlas Global Bistro

The menu is "different" but in a good way. Relatively few dishes but covering all regions of the world. Everything we had on the table was definitely "different" from the typical chain food but very good in taste. A little more expensive than your regular chain restaurant but the location is great for before/after show visits in the Fox, the DSO, the Opera or the Fisher Theater. We will be back.

After being sat at the bar....our food arrived late, and was incorrect. The wait staff was also caught picking at the food in a last second effort to correct the order. Poorly managed.

We have visited Atlas Global Bistro three times over the past year, and enjoyed each visit. The menu is varied and innovative; the food always well-prepared and delicious. The wine list is remarkably varied with a wide range of excellent American, French, and Italian choices. Interesting old-time cocktails followed the authentic recipes. Yes, it is rather pricey. I don't mind paying a little bit more for a special occasion to have a restaurant choice in midtown with reliably good food, service, and wine selection.

I do enjoy the Atlas, for Norman who are you to call ordinary when all your reviews are born since you signed up in June 2012. Are you the owner of McClure pickles, if you are I have to compliment you on the garlic pickles. I am glad you enjoyed Cafe Cortina. Good choice on your part. Ordinary is not a good word Norman.

Another restaurant that is extremely overrated and is not worth the time or money spent.
