This is the right number but wrong location. This location is located on 9 mile and Donald right next door to tcf bank. I have been going to them for the past 6 years or so. When I first went I didn't like the way they did my hair. My sister talked me into going again since they didn't have a lot of the braiders anymore. So I went back and they was better so I start going on the regular. Until one day I text to schedule my appointment like I always do. Remind you I have only got zillions nothing else. I was a regular, loyal customer. I texted her about the prices one day because it has been a few months and I didn't want any problems going in. Well that didn't work!! I texted that I wanted zillions like I usually get. She texts back that it's 160. I said okay and went in. After the service and paid the $160 and she like it's 170. I'm like no it's not it's 160 and walked away and she follows me and was like zillions is $170. I told her I asked about the price before I came and you told me $160 she wanted to say she didn't say that so I showed the text message. She was like okay you pulled a fast one on me. I'm like how when it's clear as day on a text message ZILLIONS. her response was I thought you said box braids. For one I never got box braids and zillions doesn't look nothing like box braids in a text. She was like you can go now and tried to shut the door in my face. So I pushed the door and walked away as I'm walking away she start to yell and say things under her breath so I asked if there was something she wanted to say to me. The other lady and the husband came out and asking what's going on and I explained everything to them and the husbands asked me did I pay the $160 I told him yes and he was like you fine I will take care of it. I went back months later giving it time to die down. So I get there she open the door and didn't say anything. She leaves and a new lady comes that I never seen before braids the back of my hair. I have long hair and I never had a problem with them braiding pass my hair but today I didn't get that treatment and I didn't realize it until I got home later that day. I called to the salon and told her about my hair. Then this became a issue too. She claims that all these years (6+ years) she been doing me a favor to braid pass my hair because it's long. She says it cause 200+ to braid pass my hair. I told her I never had a problem since you been braiding my hair so why today. She said because I use to do you a favor so my next question is why stop today? (I am guessing because of the last situation) And if you so call is doing me a favor then you should've told me from the start that there are two different prices etc. She didn't have anything to say after that. I will not recommend this salon because of the hidden prices one thing on the phone and one thing in person. They not very good in communicating with their customers about their service.
