Meta's Hair Braiding

I used to love coming here. My last experiences have caused me to say no more. I always call/text ahead to let Bamba know I want 2 braiders. I'm always specific about the color because I don't like dark braids. Even with calling ahead when I get there, there are no braiders he has to call around to get people to braid my hair. He NEVER has the color, (even though I asked before coming) soo now I'm sitting waiting even longer. The price is never the same, I'm told I'm getting a discount for hair THEY say is included. I stopped going there before because of not having the correct color, I was there with my hair all over my head so I had to get it braided. Well this time was the last straw. I asked again for braiders and color 4 before I came. Told him at 10 a.m. I'd come at 5. I got there a half hour early and he still did not have the hair or 2 braiders until well after 5. When I left I was happy, they kept complimenting the color sooo I assumed I got what I requested even though one of the braiders told me 1b was better. No I get #4 all the time that's what I want. No problem she said. That was Monday, I've been sick and in bed since I left there. Just looked at it today only to see my hair is too dark exactly what I didn't want. I contact Bamba the owner he tells me there's #3 in my hair, I got a discount because the hair was $20 I'm confused because NONE of this was discussed and I was given no options and instead of being apologetic for basically lying and tricking me he got upset and told me I was complaining and talked about how his braiders complained about my hair not being washed because AGAIN they spoke in a different language instead of addressing me. Even though I told him prior to coming that I'd gelled my hair in a ponytail but CLEARLY the money was more important because he told me to come anyway. Long story short after 5 years of getting shotty services, bad customer service and trickery I'm done. I kept going because it was easier than starting with someone new but PLEASE be warned.

I've been coming here for so many years and I followed them to there new location because there so loving and caring I feel safe and loved when I walk through these doors because I know there gonna take care of me right I absolutely love this place
