When my wife came to me and said she wanted a Divorce. I knew a lawyer would be called, (dee) she goes by. The first time I meet her I knew she had my back, trustworthy honest, straight to the point she is. She always said (one day at a time). I've heard other attorneys are just looking out for themselfs. I hired Ms. Duncan-White after speaking with three other lawyers and it turned out to be one the best decisions I've ever made! She knows very well; family law and our family court system. While being very compassionate towards me during my long and frustrating divorce proceedings, she was one tough cookie when dealing with my ex husbands high powered lawyer. My divorce ended up going to trial. We won and I received a much larger settlement than anticipated thanks to Ms. Duncan-White's hard work! First off, I know I wasn't the easiest Client to handle, I had my own ideas on what should happen with my divorce and they didn't always coincide with what Dynah recited back to me on what was likely to happen. I was mad, and angry and didn't feel I could trust her or the court system. It took me a while to understand(I can be hardheaded) that things have to be proven and its not on hearsay. Once I started to listen to Dynah and not talk over her, my divorce started going easier. I understood more of what was happening and why certain aspects of the divorce didn't go as I wanted. One of the most important things she told me was to document everything as it happens. Never truer words she spoke to me. By doing what she told me, I was able to get more of my points across to her and Dynah was able to prove to the Judge what was needed in our divorce case. I am truely thankful that I found her website and called her number.
