Slingerland Auto Group Used Lot

Visited Slingerland on 2 separate occasions this week and was assisted by Kevin W. He was an extremely knowledgeable, friendly and motivated young Salesperson. My brother selected a vehicle that was currently in progress of purchase. However Kevin was able to make contact with my brother the next day when that particular vehicle became available. Kevin was receptive to our banter and our allegiance to the University of Michigan. Even though we were surrounded by MSU die hards. My brother has waited 19 years to purchase another vehicle. We definitely picked the right place to do business and we got the “ Right Salesperson Kevin”. Thanks Kevin for all of your attention to detail. Dennis & Debi

Debated on writing this review but in this world, reviews are important. My wife and I made an appointment last Monday with Eric to look at a vehicle we intended on buying. Only to show up and have the manager, Randy, say there is 2 people ahead of us. Randy pulls the vehicle out which was nice, although couldn’t speak on Eric’s behalf in trying to sell us the vehicle. By the time Eric was able to talk with us the lot was closing in 15-20minutes and Randy made sure to let us know. He even commented that if we wanted to buy the vehicle, that it was not going to happen that night. (I’m sorry, if you’re the manager of the lot, don’t you think you could sell us a vehicle especially if Eric took on other clients when we had an appointment, that you would go the extra mile to get us in a vehicle that night?) Eric also mentioned he would reach out to us the following day, which never happened, so we ended up calling against our own judgement 3 days later. Talked with a separate representative who felt bad for our interaction, took our information down and said that we will definitely be getting a call back that day... well, we are still waiting for that call!! So we went elsewhere and purchased the exact same vehicle (lower miles) for a little less money! Overall the interaction at Slingerland used car lot was terrible. Felt rushed, felt like the two didn’t want to sell a vehicle that evening, and we didn’t feel valued at all. Overall just poor salesmen ship and customer service.
