Hagar Crest Apartments

This place is horrible! I live on the second floor and the walkway is so dry rotted my foot almost went through! The electric doesn’t work right in half the apartments. Mine was worked on and even with the main shut off it was still showing power to an outlet they needed to change! The guy was worried about how that was happening. The ceilings in the hall and most of the bathrooms is caving in. The tub in the downstairs apartment is about to fall through the floor. Even after they just put 26 braces in the basement because the apartment was caving in. They’re a drug dealers in the big unit with relatives and an aggressive white pitt bull growling at you as your trying to get to your door. She growled at a 9 year old girl, myself, and I watched her growl at another neighbor! If that dog bites me after they have been told by several people and management does nothing! There will be big trouble if I get hurt here with all the safety violations. Management Just says “They’re incorrigible.”and goes on about his day. I asked for a new toilet because mine is cracked pretty bad. That was 2 months ago and nothing. Tired of listening to drug deals being made under my window with children out there! Tired of the floor being so soft I’m afraid of falling through it. Regretting my year lease, that’s for sure! They have s bunch of people on disability stuck living here because it’s all they can afford and nothing here is wheel chair accessible in this building! There’s no fire escapes or egress windows. I hope someone is listening and reports this place. I’m afraid to because they sent us a nasty letter about making sure we get kicked out when ownership changed hands if we don’t make this slum look nice. So unless you’re truly desperate, or are another drug dealer looking to capitalize on one stop shopping benefits, don’t come here. This is no place for children. The 12 year old kid with Down syndrome gets verbally abused by his family all the time. It’s sad. Management doesn’t care. They know all the above and nothing is done. Don’t do this to yourself unless you have no choice.
