Mister Rooter Sewer & Drain

Scam, came out quoted me $500 for a leaky faucet, all he did was flash he's light at it. 30 secs in and out. Tells me I owe him $50 for travel fees.

Jason from Mr. Rooter was fantastic. They are expensive. He did throrough work though, it seems. I'm happy with his work and he is quite amusing.

Everyone else that I called, offered free estimates on site. This company told me, I will have to pay between $40-60 just for them to come out and tell me what it was going to cost in person, because they can't give me a quote over the phone, for just running a 3/4" x 100' power rooter snake through an 80' x 4" sewer line. So I just rented the rooter myself for $60, instead of being ripped off to just get a quote. I have been a Professional Carpenter, Electrician, Roofer, Painter, and Landscaper since June 14, 2000. And I guarantee I would lose at least 50% of my customers if I had as crappy customer service as whoever the reception lady that answered the phone when I contacted this company. She had an extremely bad attitude towards everything I asked about having done, and made me feel like a downright idiot. Anyone that has since asked me for a recommendation for a plumber, I have told them to definitely make sure they avoid calling this company at all costs.
