It would be five stars but the structure and padding is getting pretty worn. There is nearly no foam left on the rotating balance beam near the 3 slides and in the toddler area there is a sharp and hard circular plate underneath the floor. Otherwise everything is great, it just needs a little TLC on maintenance. They could raise the price a few bucks and I'd still pay it.

One of the best places I've taken my daughter. She plays from open to close, everything is clean and the environment is extremely friendly. Staff and food and pretty great themselves. We enjoyed the Treehouse very much!!

The environment at Treehouse is very welcoming and there is more than enough seating, with comfortable couches and small tables for even the tiniest of toddlers. The walls were lined with cubbies for all of your items, and the bathrooms were decorated in the cutest way. There were also more than enough family bathrooms to accommodate the amount of small kids in the building. The staff seemed nice as we entered and we were explained how things worked and where to go for bathrooms/food/etcetera. The play areas are inclusive for all ages and sizes, from 12 months to well over 10 years old. However, my experience here was less than what I felt was appropriate. A child had gotten sick on the slide after we had just ordered food. I had looked over and there were several children being wiped clean with wet wipes who had gone down the slide after the mess had been made, and the cashier that was prepping and plating our sides and drinks was now cleaning up the mess. We left immediately before our food had arrived. While the mess was out of their control, I spent $50 on food I now felt uncomfortable eating. I called and asked if we could get a refund for our food since we left before it arrived, I tried calling immediately after we left and were still in the parking lot but the line was busy, so I had to call again when we got home. A woman had informed me that she was the one who cooked the food, she did not touch the mess, and the cashier did not deal with any of the food. I had watched him prep for the food and serve food to customers as well as prepare drinks so I hardly think that was accurate. I pointed this out and she told me he came in the back and washed his hands for two whole minutes. She also told me shes been a nurse for 6 years, and was strict with her employees sanitary protocols. I told her I still felt uncomfortable as I have an autoimmune disease, and that unfortunately there was no way I could verify those two things, so I had to make the best decision for myself and my family. The woman was not necessarily rude but I did feel as though she was not taking the situation seriously. I did not receive a refund, which was the least of my worries. A lot of this situation was out of the employees control, some of it was not. Separating employees who are sanitary workers, and those who work and touch food is a must when you are working with children. Im not sure this situation represents the company as a whole, but we will not return after this incident.

Business Response on Google Mar 23rd, 2024
Hi Hailey- I am the woman you spoke to. I was very kind and understanding to your situation. I can verify the events and will tell you 100% that my staff handled the situation properly and professionally. I was the one who prepared your food in the kitchen while my 3 staff members cleaned up. And each and every single one of my staff entered the kitchen, removed their gloves into the trash, and washed from elbows down for 2 minutes with antibacterial soap before touching anything in the facility- ESPECIALLY a food tray and/or any food. The CDC guidelines state that you should wash your hands for at least 20 seconds (or hum the happy birthday song 2x). It is required by myself personally that staff wash their hands for a minimum of 2 minutes when in contact with bodily fluids (the accused staff member is also a nurse). I even attempted to call you back after reviewing the cameras and talking to the accused employee to further your reassurance, but instead received your voicemail. I’m very sorry that your experience was unpleasant. The situation of a child getting sick is out of my control. I am certain that we handled the situation very appropriately and promptly- especially in the situation of cross contamination with bodily fluids. Your accusation of seeing multiple other kids getting “wiped down” is false. We immediately closed off the slide. 1 staff member went into the structure to block the slide, while the other 2 cleaned. Only 1 child after the event happened went through the mess (he was following right behind the child who threw up) and I specifically spoke to the mom of that child, offered a change of clothes etc. She was very kind and understanding and commended my staff for their quick response. Had you been as observant as you claim you were- you would have noticed that there were 4 members of staff yesterday. 3 responded to clean the mess, leaving one more, me, in the kitchen to make the food. If you felt uncomfortable with the situation, you could have asked to speak to me while you were here. I would have been more than happy to remake your food and even let you watch my employees wash their hands- as our employee hand washing station is right as you enter the kitchen. Your food had arrived after you left- as you contradicted yourself by saying in the review it hadn’t even arrived yet. When you spoke to me on the phone, you stated that he served you the food after you watched him clean the mess up. I did attempt to reach back out to you, I’m assuming while you were writing this review. Because we noticed an empty table full of food. I would have been more than happy to refund you the money you spent on food had you been this transparent in our phone call. As far as not taking your concern seriously, I did/do. Which is why I stated several times that the accused employee did not cook your food- because I did. Along with the other food orders that were in the kitchen during the time that my staff were out cleaning up a mess. Either way, I’m sorry your experience was less than perfect. This situation, and this review is absolutely not an accurate representation of my business or my employees.
