Well, if "rustic" means that the bathroom blinds are so broken I was uncomfortable showering at night, dust so thick that my allergies were killing me, and a floor that I didn't want to walk on WITH shoes, then it's rustic for sure!!! Don't waste your money, folks. With this "resort's" price point, you'd think it would be decent...it is NOT.

Very nice cabin, rustic style interior but very well kept with updated appliances. Recently renovated bathroom in the cabin i stayed in. Very nice stay close to the town of Baraga.

Greenlight Resort & Campground - Chassell MI - Keweenaw Peninsula: STAY AWAY from this place; READ reviews, they're correct! Harry (owner) will ask for your credit card and 3 digits, and then (after you've arrived) say that he only takes cash. Your credit card was only to reserve your site, he says. But no one is here so there really was no reason to "reserve" a site. He's nowhere around; there's no office; it's difficult to know where he stays. He shows up on your last day, asking for a payment (don't forget - in cash). He doesn't give receipts, so we videotaped us paying him. PLEASE don't give him your credit card info. And DON'T stay here. When Harry didn't show up by day 2, we canceled our credit card. Sorry Harry, we may have made a mistake by staying here, but we're not stupid. Furthermore, this place is not worth $40 per night. Or $50 per night if he charges you (extra, without your knowledge) after you leave. Trash everywhere, especially in the tree line. No dumpster anywhere. Sites are not level.

I wish I could give this place a 0 star rating. On first entrance to the room, I found a piece of paper with the total they charged my card for, which was significantly more than I was quoted. After a few minutes in the place, we discovered that it was filthy, the blinds were broken in the bathroom, the tub didn’t drain, the supposed to be brown lounge couch was grey and greasy. The room, also had generations of cobwebs on everything and was so dusty that we both had trouble breathing! The kitchenette looked descent but upon further examining we found a full set of dishes but no dish soap (so no way to wash them), no paper towels and the refrigerator worked poorly, sounding like a generator kicking on, which made it very hard to sleep considering it was right next to the bed. The next morning, I attempted to call their number only to learn it was a cell phone with NO voicemail set up. I had to call an exorbitant amount of times to reach someone and secure my refund. Aside from the ridiculous amount charged per night, every aspect of this place was the opposite of a resort. If you are looking for a decent place to stay, DO NOT come anywhere near this place.
