Bros. Chimney Sweep and Masonry

We recently bought a house and wanted to have the chimney cleaned and inspected before we used the fireplace. Good thing we did! Turns out it probably wasn't cleaned in 15 years! Mike did a great job cleaning it and doing a thorough inspection. Unfortunately, he found some problems that need to be fixed. We were disappointed but very grateful that he found them before we had bigger problems. He also took the time to patiently explain the structure, performance, and necessary care of fireplaces. He was very careful about keeping our house clean during this unavoidably dirty/dusty procedure. Price was very fair. We will be using them to make the repairs and install an insert. My first experience with this company. It was fantastic. Mike was courteous, and professional, and very communicative on everything he was doing. He was thorough, and genuine in his efforts to provide quality service while ensuring the safety of the operation of my fireplace. They are also not priced to bilk as much as they can from their customers, unlike other chimney cleaning services. I will be using their services again, and have already scheduled another appointment for further projects. Two thumbs up, and very happy! Mike came to our house to do a chimney sweep and did an amazing job as well as gave us a wealth of knowledge that we would not have had, had he not taken time to explain everything to us. We are first time fireplace owners and really didn’t know much, but we felt like we got a crash course in fireplace safety and usage while he was here. He did an inspection of our fireplace as well and discovered a problem from the prior owner and we are already working on getting this fixed with him. His price was better than other companies that we were quoted and he got back to us extremely fast and we were booked within the same week. Highly recommend!
