Precious Memories Photography

Im not sure why the bad reviews? Basel did pictures of our kids when they were younger and they were amazing! Candid shots that are priceless! I have always been thankful I had him do these photos.

We had Basel and Jason as our photographers this past August for our wedding and they did an AMAZING job!! We were able to customize our package to exactly what we wanted and they made sure to get every arrangement of photos of our huge wedding party and family! They were so kind and easy to work with and at the end of the night checked in with us to make sure there wasn't anything else we wanted before they left. I would highly recommend them for any special occasion and if we ever need professional photographers again, we will no doubt be back to see them again!

We ordered photos and paid our deposit. We ordered what appeared to be a wonderful package and after our wedding we had to move and I got pregnant. We paid in full and were granted our request to wait due to our personal circumstances for our final pictures and rembrandt that we paid for. They said that would be fine. It took us another year to get settled and then we went to finish the process. They denied giving us our final book, the rembrandt, and everything else that we had already paid for. They said we could pay for the photos again and get digital versions. We reached out to the owner, and he said we had to talk to his operations guy. Then they just ghosted us. We have the proof book - those are our wedding photos. I would not trust this company and do not pay until you have what you paid for.

I should have taken the first sight of trouble as a sign, however, I was within 2 weeks of my wedding. I tried to contact precious memories to finalize details, the phone number that was on my paperwork was no longer a listed number. At that point I decided to drive to the location I met with them at only to find the space was empty. I e-mailed them immediately  expressing my concern and panic. Jason e-mailed me pack promptly that night saying he would call me in the next couple days, that they had moved locations and then gave me his personal number to reach him on. Despite my hesitation I really didn't want to look for another photographer with only 2 weeks left and Precious memories was recommended to me by 2 of my friends. I can't say that I'm completely disappointed with the pictures I have. Both the photographers were very attentive and took a lot of pictures. After looking them over there are good ones but a few of the important ones to me are ruined by flash or a glare or lack of editing. I am more bothered by the pictures that were not taken. I shared my pinterest board as well as gave a photographers list. I felt that I was the one organizing what pictures were being taken rather than them knowing how to coordinate people to get the pictures I wanted. There is no picture of my Husband and his mom at our ceremony, the one I have with my mom, her glasses are glared. I also expressed to Jason that my stepdaughter is very important to me and I wanted her to be just as included as my husband and I. I don't have a picture with my stepdaughter with both of us in our dresses, only one of her in her dress but I was not in mine yet to which my stepdaughter and I are heartbroken over, I don't even think they would have taken one of my husband and stepdaughter had I not asked them. There are very little candids of my husband and I. I feel like my photographers list and pinterest were completely ignored. We also barely moved around the beautiful grounds that we were married in. Time was no issue we had 2 1/2 hours in between the ceremony and reception. I have also rarely seen photographers set up flash umbrellas in a reception space, they are a total eye sore in our pictures. I was originally told I would get my photos back in 2 weeks but didn't get them until 5 weeks after only to open the package to a broken case and no labeling. After trying to print them out it was apparent that I had somebody else's wedding video and waited another 2 weeks for our pictures as they do not respond within the next business day more like whenever they feel like it. 2 CDs came in one case in an unpadded yellow envelope with no labeling or business logo or anything. I was hoping that their pictures would blow me away and that I could over look their lack of professionalism early on.  I feel that they were unorganized in keeping track of the pictures they had taken  and resulted in us not getting some of the ones that were important to us. I'll be honest I am a little picky and particular but I feel like if you specialize in weddings that your clients should have high expectations.
