They charge 18% mandatory gratuity, but the server( a Hong Kong? female waitress) is very rude and unresponsive, who does not deserve it

Always love the sushi at izakaya. We travel from whitmore lake over 30 minutes aways when we want sushi just to come here. Always the freshest. Service is outstanding as well. Can't be beat!

Why does it smell so delicious in here? Because the food is delicious! We enjoyed the ramen, sushi, and tonkatsu! Be sure to stop in at this local Japanese gem for some good eats! Super attentive service on top of everything!

Their house salad was literally just lettuce and a slice of tomato, hot tea served in a soup cup. Friendly staff, but no food menu posted online for pricing

Izakaya Sanpei.com will have our prices posted and Sanpei salad has lettuce, tomato, cucumber, asparagus with ginger dressing and price was 5 dollars. Hot tea is served in Traditional Japanese tea cup we ordered from Japan. We do not serve soup in our tea cup. Also our green tea is free. Am I missing something here.
