Since the remodel and overhaul by Restaurant impossible, I have to say what a great change. The food is very good no its not your Little Ceasers and thats a plus. Its nice to have a nicer place around here that is using fresh ingredents and making there own food, sauces, ect...Not frozen out of a bag. I dont mind paying the price, its worth it. Nicer resturants dont include a salad, bread, ect..if you want them then its additional. The prices are fair for what you get. The Salmon is awesome! Dont go back to the bland pre packaged food..The simple bright decor is nice, I hope it stays simple, clean, and modern.

Restaurant Impossible ruined this restaurant. Go back to your old menu if you want to stay in business and teach your staff to be a bit more personable and attentive.

Okay recently went to Palianis, I heard that they had just been made over by Kitchen Impossible so I was interested in seeing what they had done and taste the food by a famous chef who had gave them two recipes to use at their establishment. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and we looked around and could tell that it had gone through some renovations. The inside was clean with fresh paint and fixtures. As we were sat at our table I started to notice the flaws of the renovations which there really should be none since it had only reopened a month or two earlier. We noticed the paint on the inside had not been done professionally as there were runs and the lines were not clean. I also notice that the new blinds they had put up were already starting to fall well actually only one was starting to fall hanging on only by one side another was crooked. On the table was our menu which was printed on nice card stock was a list of our options. We ordered our food which consisted of an appetizer, two salads, and two entrees. Our appetizer was a caprese salad ( you can t mess up a salad right. WRONG!) we get the caprese and it was exactly as it was described on the surface yellow tomatoes and mozarella sliced on a bed of greens with balsamic vinegar and seasoned. So we dug into the caprese and well not so great the tomatoes were cold, as if they were just taken out of the freezer and thawed the mozzarella was not of good quality the greens were the best thing on the plate and all it was drenched in what looked like about a half a cup of balsamic vinegar which had not been seasoned at all or if it had not seasoned enough. My fiance was very disappointed she only ate two bites and was done. We also had ordered two salads which were not included with the entree (weird, I thought). She had ordered a ceaser salad and I had ordered a wedge salad ( again can t mess up a salad right? WRONG!) Our salads had arrived, her salad was ordered with ceaser salad dressing and mine with Italian salad dressing.I noticed that hers and my salad dressing were a little dark but just chalked it up to being seasoned. They were seasoned but the base of both were again BALSAMIC VINEGAR when you can only taste balsmic vinegar your using way too much but it was not as bad as the caprese salad. At this point we should of just got the bill for what we had ate paid and left but we didnt we stayed for our entrees. My soon to be played it safe (so she thought )and ordered a stromboli, and I ordered the herb stuffed chicken.The whole time we had been there we had been listening to the conversation between I guess the owner and her employees and a patron who just decided to come in and see the new decor. We received our entrees, her stromboli actually looked like a stromboli and my herb stuffed chicken well it was chicken but not stuffed at all. My chicken first of all was a pan fried thigh w/ leg set on a layer of parmesan, mozzarella, greens,and maybe i think it might have been polenta or atleast the consistency of polenta. So I started eating and cut the chicken and it looked a little under done but thought maybe it was the lighting but as I got closer to the bone there was still red blood so it was definitly not done all the way through; however, the sauce was actually good and did not have any balsamic vinegar in it. Her stromboli was decent but it had an after taste which I could only think they used beer in their sauce. We got our bill which was unfortunatly over $30.00. Way too much for the food that we were served and the discomfort we had the rest of the day and the next as we both were bathroom bound. It was not a good dining experience. Our slices of pizza from the gas station was better. I would not recommend this place to anyone and hopefully they change or atleast taste their food and make sure that it is properly cooked before sending it out or they will be in the same predictament they were in before their over haul and that is going under.
