***Buyers Beware*** I purchased a used 2014 Harley Sportster last year from Brighton HD. I had a Vance and Hines 2 into system installed by the service department at this location at the time of purchase. The day I picked up my bike to take it home, I noticed my battery cover was being held on with a piece of worn Velcro. I asked my sales rep why Velcro was being used and not the standard battery cover clips. She then asked the service tech on-site why the Velcro was being used. This gentleman tried to explain that it was for my benefit as the clips are hard to remove. Keep in mind that I had an hour drive home with a piece of Velcro hardly in place. The sales rep asked the tech to place the clips on, which did with an attitude.. Moving forward to a couple days after getting my bike home and riding it to and from to work for two day I noticed that my bike wasn’t running right and was much louder. I get it into my garage and noticed the two threaded nuts and stud was missing from my exhaust system to the engine block itself. I called Bright HD and they sent a truck to pick it up to fix it as it was covered in my warranty. No issues for the rest of riding season as work was busy so I didn’t have much time to get the bike on the road. Flash forward to getting the bike out in mid May of 2019. Got my sporty on the road. Drove it two and from work 8 times and came across the same exhaust issue. Both threaded nuts were missing again as well as the same stud. I’ll called Brighton HD’s service department on June 1st and explain that the same issue happened again. I scheduled a motorcycle pick up for Tuesday the June 4th from 4-5pm. No call no show. I called and left a voicemail with the service department asking if the truck was running late of if I can get a call back. It’s now Saturday the 8th and I haven’t heard a thing. Moving forward I will not do business with Brighton HD or any Harley Davison repair facilities in general. In my experience with these shops it seems that all customer service is poured into new purchases and once you get the bike you’re stuck with it.

Best dealer around. Had nothing but positive experiences here on the many occasions I've visited for service or parts. Can't say the same about the other few HD locations within an hour of here...

It's now a Harley / Triumph dealership. I stopped in to talk about tires for my Triumph was quoted three times higher price than Triumph Detroit dealership quoted. So needless to say ended up taking a longer Drive to Triumph Detroit.
