Joanie and Jim are so remarkable. My girls learn so much every time we are out. And their horse Blossom learns much as well! I highly recommend Henning Stables for anyone interested in equestian events or just pleasure riding.

A wonderful place to ride well-taken-care-of horses, or board your own horse. Joan and Jim Henning run a fine facility with riding lesson and horse training options. A very nice indoor arena features treated, dustless sand, dressage letters and new in Spring 2018, mirrors! I've ridden with Joan and Jim for 7 years and have been extremely happy with the attention and care they put into each boarder, lesson student and horse! A great place to learn how to be a true horse person, with equal emphasis on quality riding and horse(wo)manship :)

The amount of gratitude I have for Mr. and Mrs. Henning is unmeasurable! Attending college and the transition have their own set of stressors but I had peace of mind knowing my horse was safe and happy in the care of the Hennings. Communication is key with many things and Mrs. Joanie is highly proficient in maintaining communication with boarders and lessors while the conversations remain light hearted and cheerful. A sense of community and fellowship grew, as the years went on, and our experience was nothing short but opportunity filled and memorable. Mrs. Joanie’s sense of horsemanship is exquisite as it aligns with my values of patience and again, communication. I continue to look forward to our relationship with the Hennings grow even as I leave the area post graduation. I can continue to rest assured knowing my senior horse mate is cared for with a standard of love I would provide. Henning Stables is my home away from home 🧡
