Russell's Foreign Car Repair, L.L.C.

Didn't return call or e-mail. Called again and they said bring the car in in the morning. I arrived the next morning and they said they were a week out for servicing. This lack of communication is unacceptable. Lost a customer for life. Zero stars.

Too bad I can't give them a 0 star. Had to have my car towed out of there to a better shop today after them having it over 2 weeks. I was told 10 days ago that the intake manifold was replaced already. They never even put it in! Then we were told that once they took the brakes and rotors off, our calipers were shot. They said they ordered them. Then it turns out they put it back together with the old parts to take it to the shop in Benton Harbor to work on it. What?? Anyway, the very first thing the new shop told us was that there is nothing wrong with the calipers. No one ever answered the phone there for 2 days. I sure miss Russell. All his mechanics opened up their own place. Don't go here if you value your car and your time and money.

Place really went down hill. Had my car for three weeks had all the parts never got fixed. Had to have it towed to a different shop. The new owner is to busy to talk to me haven't got refunded for the deposit to order parts that never got installed gave them one star because no stars wasn't an option. Couldn't get ahold of anyone by phone had to leave work today and go there to talk to someone.

$200 for them to say "sorry we can't figure out what's wrong with your car", also they couldn't tell us exactly what was done to the car. Everything about this place is unprofessional besides the girl behind the counter (she was sweet). Something as simple as wanting a detailed description of what was done to our car turned into a huge ordeal. I absolutely would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!! Especially a woman, since when the owner James called me he insisted that he should talk to my husband (who was at work at the time). When my husband finally got a call back from James it ended with him being hung up on! Such professionalism 👌👌
