Among the Vineyards Bed & Breakfast

Picked Among the Vineyards for a quick 2 night getaway for my wife's birthday. What a great decision. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Barb the owner is a very gracious, personable host and a great cook. Blu the dog hung out with us in the living areas and was quiet and friendly. We enjoyed our room with the fireplace, king size bed, large shower and cedar tub. The out door hot tub was also a great treat. Plenty to do around Baroda Michigan, even in March. Wine tasting, breweries, resale and antique shops are a short drive away. Barb was very helpful in getting us to the best spots. Will definitely stay there again. Mike and Liz.

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday weekend. It was our first time here. We've been to B and Bs in the Traverse City area but wanted to explore something different. We booked the Cabernet room for two nights. The whole experience was amazing. Barb truly thought of all the little touches that make a stay comfortable(like cookies in the room). Our room and the entire place was very clean and the decor was so cute and wine themed. You could tell Barb was so involved in everything from the decor to the food to knowing all about the local eats, wineries, etc. Breakfast was amazing-we couldn't pick a favorite from the cabernet poached pears to the skillet with eggs from Barb's own chickens to the French toast and bacon. We also got to meet Blu the dog who was a great greeter everytime we came back from our travels. We would definitely come back again!

First and foremost, we could not have asked for a better host than Barb. Not only was she an amazing chef providing us with top-shelf breakfasts each morning, but she was also so incredibly welcoming -- it felt like we were staying with a lifetime friend. On top of that, she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, giving great suggestions on places to eat and visit during our time. The house was gorgeous, clean and all of the amenities were perfect. We stayed in the Reisling room, and it was very comfortable and private. Plus, house dog Blu was the goodest boy. I give Among the Vineyards my highest recommendation, and we have already started finding a reason to head back as soon as we can!
