I've purchased a number of trees/shrubs from Drakes over the years and have yet to lose anything.  While their selection may not be as robust as some other nurseries, I have to say what they have is mature and nice.  As far as service,  they are very knowledgable, never pushy and they do a fantastic job of planting.   Great people!  They aren't a high tech company, and if you call and they don't answer, they are probably out in the nursery with a customer.  Be patient.  I always try Drakes first even though it's a bit of a drive for me.

I'm giving one star because negative stars are not possible.
We heard that there was a very decent service at a reasonable price. We visited the place, left phone numbers with best times to call, and were expecting a call back. No call ever came back, so I called, and was told with a scolding tone that they have been working every night until 9 pm. Apparently, my request for a quote somehow annoyed the receptionist. So I just informed her that we would be looking somewhere else for our service. That is an extremely poor level of customer service, but maybe they stay as busy as they want. Don't waste your time coming here.
