Had the filters I needed and was able to pick them up instead of being mailed. I was in and out in about 5 minutes and the clerk was very nice.

Seriously, folks, just go with these guys. Excellent service, honest sales (thanks, Edd!), and competent installation. Your house and you deserve clean, fresh water. The techs were super professional, honest, and thorough. I can't recommend them enough!

I would be fine with Kinetico and likely purchased a new system if it weren't for their crooked practices. Depending on where you live your price can vary drastically. We had a "service" (sales) guy come out and tell us we needed a new system to replace the current Kinetico at the cost of $5500 ($4750 if we trade our new system in). I called another Kinetico dealer in the next county (3 miles from the line) and was quoted $2750. Yes; half! But they then found out we were not in their territory so they could not sell me a system. I would have to go to the one dealer in my county who charges DOUBLE for the same system due to demographics. Kinetico creates a monopoly with territories which charge whatever they feel they can get away with. I couldn't believe the whole system needed to be replaced so I did a little research. I ended up replacing the resin in my tanks and rebuilding the head with components I had to buy OVERSEAS because they will not sell you parts without their technician installing them. I guess they don't have to abide to the right to repair laws. Many mistruths (being nice) throughout the whole process. I had several phone calls with both this place, the one in the next county over and Kinetico Corporate. Kinetico Corporate told me they have no say in pricing and only supply the retail locations and it is up to them to determine pricing. After a call with them, this place told me that Kinetico controls their pricing. Long story short, the softener is back to working properly and I now know how to repair it next time. Total cost - $140 in resin, $125 in head seals and an evening of my time. Saved $5235. Before buying a Kinetico, think long and hard about the situation you will be in when you have a problem. See if you can get the same system from another location the next county over. I will not spend another dime at this dealer for salt or any other supplies any longer. Wish I could give ZERO stars.
