I've always loved the food. The staff is friendly. The drinks weren't just mediocre. Putting crushed ice in the bourbon based drink made it watery.

An awkward ending to a nice meal - I recently ate there with a large party, 6 different couples. Mediterrano accommodated the reservation easily. The food was delicious, the actual table service was excellent, the wait staff courteous and on the ball. But when it came to check time, we were informed they wouldn't split the bill, and they only accepted up to 3 credit cards, "As it's clearly stated on the menu." It was in small lettering at the bottom of the menu, I couldn't call that clearly stated, and we were not told this ahead of time. And then come to find out they add an additional credit card fee now. None of this is on their website. I haven't experienced this in a nice restaurant before, I'm used to them being happy to have large parties spending money, and splitting at least more than 3 times. We had to pass around the bill, everyone checking off what they ordered, Venmoing and Paypalling money to each other. And then the additional credit card fee. I used to run a business, cash is great but accepting credit cards is part of the accepted cost of doing business to get more customers in, not nickel-and-diming people you want to come back. I've never faced that before at a nice restaurant - you don't lie on your menu and say it's one price and then charge another, especially after customers have already eaten. I just read today the state of New York made this illegal for restaurants - I hope Michigan does the same. As for Mediterrano - I liked the food, but I'm not bringing a party back there.

Came here yesterday for Sunday Easter Brunch with my partner and some friends of ours. Never been here before, but will definitely be back! We had a great buffet lunch with some of the best prime rib Ive had! Our server, Jamie was so nice and funny, we loved her! Would be happy to come back here again to try their regular menu as the buffet was delicious! Also, the Old Fashioned was fantastic! Cheers!
