Erica, Mike and their team have provided that helping hand i needed with weeding invasives for years...to the point where i hardly have to worry now! these days they help me more with planting beautiful blooms or tasty berries (thriving red currants, artfully arranged around my existing trees) as accents to my lawn in the ann arbor hills neighborhood. Erica has also designed gorgeous, unique planter arrangements for my front steps; i cannot recommend them highly enough for their good eye, their good spirits, and their good impacts on our michigan agroecosystems through their own farm!

We have enjoyed our experience and the results from using the design and installation expertise of Erica Kempter and Mike Levine plus their crew, so much so that we have hired them twice to transform the front of our certified organic farm's house from an unsightly mess to beautiful and welcoming specifically using only native plants. We (and our local pollinators!) appreciate their careful attention to detail and dedication to organic practices. Nature and Nurture have been helping us to maintain and improve our landscape for seven years--my husband and I are very happy with their consistent service and expertise. They have provided consultation on landscape design and plant choices, and have performed significant landscape installation in addition to regular maintenance. All of the plants that they have installed over the years have thrived, and we've received many compliments on our landscape design. We used Nature and Nurture shortly after moving into a home where the backyard was barely covered in grass. Erica drew up a fabulous design that covered more than half of the yard. I especially loved her commitment to native plants and organic methods. She and the crew did an expert job of planting and we had them return a 2nd year to fill in the garden. We now have a beautiful, natural space where we enjoy spending time. I recommend them highly.

Nature and nurture are experts in their fields and supremely knowledgeable about all landscaping, but particularly native plants, fruit trees and edible yards. Having experienced a wide array of landscaping services, the only bad thing I can say is that sometimes I have to wait a few weeks or more for service, but that's only because they are highly in demand.
