The staff are very attentive to my dad. I don't have to worry about him being taken care of. Any medical issues are taken care of immediately and a call is made to me with updates. If he is having a rough day, they call and have him talk to me on the phone which normally calms him down. As stated earlier, the are very attentive and are watching over him all the time. I can't imagine having my dad anywhere else. I know he would love to be home, but since this is not possible, I would say this is the next best thing for him.

I worked at Lenawee medical for a short time. I enjoyed the care I, as well as many others applied to the residents. However, others did not. It was always a competition. There was always that group of people to lie and spread rumors. Management was awful, they did not care about your health, or limitations. They believed any lie told. Blamed you for their own nurses misuse of information just to save themselves from state being in the building. High turn over rate. Constantly being mandated unless you picked up and extra 24 hours a week on top of your normal 40. No care for home life or family needs. Micromanaged at it's finest. I felt like I was walking into a prison. No work should make you feel that way. Especially when you love what you do so much. I will miss my residents and their family's who I've grown closely with. Hopefully they can get a change in management soon before everyone walks out or quits.
