Terry, the owner is very knowledgeable about all things tailoring and sewing, clothing construction etc. I've never brought her anything that didn't make me much happier AFTER she had worked her magic.

I need measurements for a custom bridesmaid gown. I called at least 5 other tailors in the area and they either only measured bust, waist and hip or they didn’t seem confident enough to take the 15+ measurements I needed. When I called Terry, she was 100% confident that she could help me. She was very sincere over the phone. Customer service is huge to me. When I went in for my measurements, she so sweet and her shop is clean, organized, and cute! If I ever need alterations, I’ll definitely be going to Alter Ego! 5 stars! Thanks Terry! :-)

Wonderful! She did the alterations on my wedding dress, and it looked perfect. Her prices were also more than reasonable (honestly less than half of what I was expecting to pay), and everything was completed on time and with care and attention to detail. She was even able to redye my veil for me when it didn't quite match the shade of my gown.
