George's Pizza

Waited over two hours and called repeatedly to no answer. I drive over to the restaurant, and ITS CLOSED. Doors locked. Lights off. They just disregard orders and don’t give you your money back. Absolutely horrible service.

I don't understand. This is the second time in a row that I've placed an order, waited over an hour, and attempted to call both the store and the owner's cell and gotten nothing. He didn't get back to me the first time my order fell through, and I'm not expecting to hear from him again this time. I ordered from them just at the beginning of the year. The food was fine with no delivery problems! What on earth happened?

We never received our food, but our credit card was charged. We were given the run-around for 3.5 hours about how our food should arrive any minute, that it was delivered, that it’s on its way again, and then that it’s not coming and our money will be refunded in a “couple” of days. So now the money has been charged to the card and we have no money to order from anywhere else, and they won’t give us our food without us paying again.

I was born and raised in Worcester and have been to all the pizza shops in this city. Let me first start by saying I'm a legit happy customer who knows what I'm talking about. These guys are among the best pizza joints, that I've ever been to. The only ones close to pizza quality are Millbury St and freshway near the airport. The steak and cheese at Georges is by far and large, superior to ANYTHING out there available. The next in line steak and cheese would be from freshway off water St. and that's it. It's a bargain to eat at George's, they don't have rediculous prices; don't believe me? Comparison shop other pizza shops and then come give me a thumbs up. Listen, the cheese these guys use is authentic and is delicious. I'd say it is the perfect premium mozzarella that one would expect for paying their hard earned money for. Also the management is nice and the place is clean. Any person who doesn't give this pizza shop at least 4 stars is being deceptive for some reason or another. Enjoy the pizza and steak and cheese subs!!!!
