Quite disappointed. We were looking forward to dining at a place we had spent our wedding night at many years prior. Setting was promising and very nice. Our waitress was friendly and personable but not working well with the support staff...waited way too long for 2nd glass of wine. Small portions for sure but the fried oysters and tuna crudo were ok. Not great. The heirloom tomato salad was missing heirloom tomatoes and at this time of the summer thats a big miss. Pasta entre was bland and had potential but lacked seasoning. Short ribs were very good. Desserts were also very good. The real disappointment was the noise coming from the adjacent table and the child that was watching video on some device much to the chagrin of the tables nearby. It was very loud and distracting and really took alot away from the experience.

Highly overrated for the price you pay. I don’t mind at all going to a restaurant with a prix fixe menu since that is part of the culinary experience. But the experience got spoiled by a server that was not very well trained and food that was cold by the time it reached our table. When you order a bottle of wine and it reaches the table 45 minutes later, that should be a big no-no. They have a beautiful garden which makes the outdoor seating very pleasant, but management/owner/chef should pay attention and train their staff and elevate the experience to their patrons, something that they are lacking. They had a special of the day dish on the prix fixe menu, we were not told that there was an extra charge for it, so I’m not sure what they understand what Prix fixe is. Okay I don’t mind paying extra, but if that dish arrives cold because nobody is paying enough attention to bring it warm to the table is another sign if incompetency. An upscale pricey restaurant should have impeccable service and food.
