Waltham Overlook

I lived here from 07/2019 to 05/2021. Since Dolben took over the management in 2020, there have been quite some improvements, including roads, landscaping, and better maintenance/management overall. Anita (office staff) was very responsive, and my whole move-out-early process was very smooth. She actually helped me save a few hundreds of dollars! And they mailed me the deposit on time.

This is a review for the maintenance staff they have on-site here. Chris and Bruce are both absolutely fantastic! They are extremely friendly, kind, and attentive! All of my maintenance requests have been handled by the next day without issue. As an extra bonus they are both amazing with the dogs that live here! They always have treats ready!

I can go on and on about this place. I have never left a negative review for any place but this place was just frustrating from the start. The apartment quality was poor. The new management is also very rude and unprofessional. We wanted to talk to them several times regarding our lease. We were not able to get in touch with them for the longest time, the call was picked up by some 3rd party who said that they will let the management know to give us a call back. Finally after 3 weeks when we were able to get in touch, it turns out they did not receive any message, to top it of they don’t even know that their calls don’t go to voicemail but are actually picked up by a person. It took me several phone calls to get a lease renewal/cancellation form. Then they have the audacity to send a pre dated form, such that it looks like we received it in timely manner. I also lost another great apartment just because this management did not reply to them in time.

I moved into Waltham overlook as Dolben was taking over from the previous management and I have had nothing but positive experience with them. Very responsive team (special mention to Anita) and are also making a lot of positive changes to the community, the maintenance team is just awesome (shoutout to Chris) whatever the request might be they just get back within a day
