Exotic Nails Spa

I went in and needed a fill / color change . Was charged 55$ the nails came out great . But I was in a rush and it dawned on me later that I just paid 55$ + tip for basically a fill and color change . And acrylics! This was like a month ago . It still bothers me , more so that I didn't speak up in the moment. But I love the atmosphere, I loved the way they came out. But kinda pricey .

Spent $70 here and will never be back! Kathleen deformed 3/10 of my nails to the point of me having to fix them myself at home because I was not going to sit there any longer. My appointment lasted 2 HOURS, I didnt even ask for anything complicated! Throughout the appointment, shed forget steps, left my nails soaking in acetone for like 15min(got a sweet burn from that), would walk away for phone calls and didnt even clean up my nails much after the session was done. Left black nail polish on the top of my daughters wrist and around 3 fingers too. She was going to a dance that evening and it was an extremely sloppy job for the price (over $60.). Service: Nail designs

I went in on Friday, January 27th for gel color manicure.  Kathleen did my nails.  It took her exactly 15 minutes start to finish.   Normally it takes about 30 minutes or so but Kathleen skipped the part where they trim dead skin around your nails, etc.  She also kept checking her cell phone during the manicure.  Not surprisingly,the gel nails started peeling off on Wednesday morning, February 1st.   I called this afternoon to see if I could come in after work to have it redone.  I spoke to a young woman (who was nice) but informed me that they were too busy and asked me to come at 3pm.  I explained that I worked until 4pm but could come at 4:15.  She asked if I could come the next day at 3pm.  I again explained that I worked until 4pm.She became very frustrated so I asked to speak to the manager, but she said he wasn't there.   I told her forget it. I would leave a yelp review.   20 minutes later the manager called from another location and tried to explain how busy they were.  I get that.  But I still can't leave work to get my nails redone.  He genuinely seemed like he wanted to help, but I  can't go when I'm working.   I told him although I had been a customer there for a few years and never had a bad experience, the botched manicure and attitude of the receptionist made me not want to return.  He offered a gift certificate.   I asked for my money back and was refused.  He explained their policy.  By the way, when I had the exact same manicure done in December,  it was $28.  Kathleen charged $32.   My policy is to give one star review for having to throw $42 down the toilet in this economy.    The manager was nice.  Maybe his hands were tied.  But Kathleen and that receptionist are the reason for this review and a lost customer, who always tipped 40 - 50% for good service.
